New clients in the wings...
3:30 pm cdt
We are excited to announce new tentative client agreements with Jarrod Saltalamacchia (Rangers), Sean Burnett (Pirates), Sam
Fuld (Cubs), and Kevin Pucetas (Giants).
Jarrod is a former Atlanta Braves top prospect who was traded to Texas
along with Elvis Andrus and Matt Harrison for Mark Texeira late in the 2007 season. "Salty" made his Major
League Debut with the Braves on May 2, 2007 (his 22nd birthday) after batting .373 with 7 homers to start the 2007 season
at Double-A Mississippi. Salty finished the 2007 season batting .261 with 11 HR and 33 RBI between Atlanta and Texas.
After a competitive battle with veteran catcher Gerald Laird during the 2008 season, the Rangers placed their faith in "Salty"
to help with the development of their pitching staff and named him their starting catcher for the 2009 season, trading Laird
Sean is a fixture in middle-relief for the Pirates, having been ranked as one of their top pitching
prospects as he climbed through the Minor League ranks in the early 00's, twice being named Pittsburgh's Minor League Pitcher
of the Year (2001, 2002) and Carolina League Pitcher of the Year in 2002. Sean made his Major League debut during the
2004 season, but was sidelined by injury for the entire 2005 season. He spent the 2006 and 2007 seasons working his
way back and returned to the Major Leagues in May 2008.
Sam was drafted in the 10th round of the 2004 draft out
of Stanford, where he started four years, earning All-American honors twice and All-PAC-10 honors three times (he also set
the College World Series record for hits with 24); made professional debut in 2005 with Single-A Peoria, batting
.300 with 133 hits in 125 games; followed this up with a second .300 season in 2006 with the Advanced-A Daytona Cubs, adding
22 steals and earning Mid-Season FSL All-Star honors; split 2007 season between Double-A Tennessee (.291 Avg) and Triple-A
Iowa (.269 Avg), finishing the season playing in the Arizona Fall League, where he was named to the Rising Stars Showcase
and the AFL All-Prospect Team, earning both the AFL MVP Award and the Dernell Stenson Sportsmanship Award after leading the
league in batting average (.402), hits (43), doubles (11), total bases (67), OBP (.492), and slugging percentage (.626); split
2008 between Double-A Tennessee (.271 Avg) and Triple-A Iowa (.222 Avg), struggling with a thumb injury before finishing the
season as a key contributor for the Tigres de Aragua of the Venzuelan Winter League (.314 Avg, 10 doubles, 5 triples, 4 homers,
11 RBI), earning Baseball America All Winter League Team honors.
Kevin is one of the most overlooked prospects
in the Giants' organization, let alone all of Minor League Baseball. With a career record of 32-7 entering the 2009
season (and 5-1 during the 2009 season as of the date of this blog), he simply WINS. Selected by the Giants in
the 17th round of the 2006 draft, Kevin started his career with Salem-Keizer, going 7-1 with a 2.17 ERA in 15 games,
striking out 60 while walking only 19; was even better in 2007, finishing 15-4 with a 1.86 ERA in 27 appearances for Single-A
Augusta, earning Mid-Season and Post-Season All-Star honors, the SAL/USA Today Most Outstanding Pitcher Award, Minor
League Baseball's Most Spectacular Pitcher Award, and being named Class-A Starting Pitcher of the Year by MLB.com; continued
dominance in 2008 with the Advanced-A San Jose Giants, finishing 10-2 with a 3.02 ERA in 24 starts, earning CAL Mid-Season
and Post-Season All-Star nods and being named CAL Pitcher of the Year and a Baseball America High Class-A All-Star;
pitched in both the 2008 XM All-Stars Futures Game and the 2008 Arizona Fall League, where he was selected to the AFL All-Prospect
We are thrilled to add these outstanding athletes to our roster of Starting Lineup clients and look
forward to bringing all of our customers great game-used items from these current and future stars!

Memorial Day Weekend 2009 was GREAT!
What a great weekend! My oldest son, Caison, and I were able to meet with Angels' clients Hank Conger, Robert Mosebach,
and Hainley Statia prior to Saturday's game against the NW Arkansas Naturals. We received a great cracked Max Bat from
Hank (absolutely destroyed!) and a pair of heavily-used spikes. Also got a great game-used glove from Mosebach with
"Moose" embroidered along the thumb.

Sunday we met with new client and Padres' top prospect Cedric
Hunter in Frisco, Texas at the Dr. Pepper Ballpark. For those of you who have the chance to go to Frisco and have never
been...definitely check out the ballpark! It is one of the most unique designs we have ever seen! Cedric
was great, going 4-5 and showing tremendous speed and range in Centerfield. After the game, he signed two
Fort Wayne jerseys we acquired within the last few weeks. We are looking forward to a shipment of items from him in
the next few weeks.
Monday continued the fun as we attended the Rangers - Yankees game at the Ballpark at Arlington
as guests of Brett Gardner and Jarrod Saltalamacchia. A sincere thank you to the guys for the seats, as we were in the
shade the entire game and had a fantastic view of the action, including some memorable Memorial Day festivities. We
got to talk with Brett before the game and met with Matt Harrison after the game. Matt took a tough loss in the
game, but was still as nice and accomodating as any player you will ever meet...just a great all-around guy!
night we were able to join Gardy for dinner and had a fantastic time talking baseball. He is another terrific guy to
be around and really took time to insure everyone had a great time. Look for great things to continue to come for Brett
as he has the drive and character to accomplish tremendous things in his career.
All in all a great and memorable
weekend! Thanks to all of our clients who took time to meet with us!

Updates to the site...
Over the next month, we are working to add PayPal "Buy-It-Now" and "Add-To-Cart" functionality to the
listings on our site as a convenience to our customers. During this transition, any items purchased thru PayPal will
not incur the current 3% surcharge. We are hoping to provide additional payment options in the future to avoid the ever-increasing
fees charged by PayPal and their parent company eBay.
11:54 am cdt
We hope to have all Starting Lineup items converted by June
15th, with Authentic Collection items completed by August 1.
During the transition, you can still reserve items
for purchase by clicking the message on each item's listing.
We will be meeting with several Major League clients
and potential clients this weekend and hope to have several new items to offer within the next few weeks as we approach the
various league All Star games.

I am pleased to announce a new Starting Lineup client relationship with Brian Barton, the newest member of Atlanta's
corp of outfield prospects. Brian, a former top Indians' prospect, made his Major League Debut last season
as a Rule 5 Draft selection of the St. Louis Cardinals. The former University of Miami standout began the 2009 season
with the Cardinals' AAA-affiliate Memphis Redbirds before a late-April trade to the Atlanta Braves. We are excited
to welcome Brian and look forward to bringing his authentic game-used items to the sports memorabilia market!

PCM Sports Partnership and other news
2:22 pm cdt
We are excited about our new partnership with PCM Sports. Scott and his company have proven a reliable source for
high quality game-used items from several of the top names in baseball since the inception of our company. We are
thrilled to partner with them to bring our customers added access to the equipment offered through PCM's exclusive client
contracts, including items from the 2008 National League Rookie of the Year, Geovany Soto, and top prospects and former 1st
Round Draft Picks including Matt LaPorta and Chris Perez.
We are also excited to announce that we have signed a
new agency partnership to represent top prospects Michael Taylor (Phillies), Chris Nelson (Rockies), and Cedric Hunter (Padres)
in the sale of their authentic game-used equipment. We expect our first items from these three outstading prospects
within the next month.
We have two additional agency partnerships that we are on the verge of completing, which
